This is Eoghainns' personal car, an MK Indy R. Originally powered by a year 2000 Yamaha R1, she was first put on the road in 2008 and has gone through a few changes, including an engine change in favour of a newer fuel injected engine in 2009, which due to a little too much speed over a hill, has just been changed for another 2003 year Yamaha R1 engine, this time with a Barnett clutch upgrade and a baffle plate installed in the sump to reduce oil surge.

Now after curing a slipping clutch, she is finally back on the road! As is always the case though, it is hard to stop fiddling, so I have just made and fitted a rear diffuser, with more aero tweaks coming. So watch this space!
